The Raja Saab OTT Release: Prabhas is gearing up to make a grand comeback to the big screens soon, with the upcoming film The Raja Saab. The movie, which is touted to be a romantic horror comedy, is helmed by Maruthi Dasari. The streaming rights of the highly anticipated film, which is set to get a Makar Sankranti release, have been sold for a whopping price.

According to the recent reports, the post-theatrical OTT streaming rights of The Raja Saab have been bagged by the popular platform, Jio Hotstar. Some unconfirmed reports also suggest that the OTT giant bagged the streaming rights of Prabhas' film for a whopping price, which is one of the highest ever in Telugu cinema, so far.
As per the reports, the Maruthi Dasari directorial is expected to have its OTT release on Jio Hotstar, around 30 to 35 days after its theatrical release. The Raja Saab is expected to stream on the renowned platform in at least 5 languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi. The makers are expected to make an official announcement on the Prabhas starrer's OTT platform and the release date details, soon after the movie hits the theatres on January 9, 2026.
The Raja Saab Plot, Cast And Crew
The Rajasaab, which marks Prabhas' first collaboration with director Maruthi Dasari, also marks his return to the romantic comedy genre after a big break. The romantic horror comedy film reportedly revolves around a happy-go-lucky man who encounters a spirit in his ancestral property.
Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar appear as the female leads in the film, which stars Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Brahmanandam, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, VTV Ganesh, Yogi Babu, Prabhas Sreenu, Satya, and others in the pivotal roles. Thaman S has composed songs and original score for The Raja Saab.
