Vrusshabha Box Office Collections Day 1: Mohanlal made comeback to the big screens with his long-delayed period fantasy action film, on December 25, 2025. Vrusshabha, which hit the big screens without much pre-release hype or effective promotions, has ended the superstar's otherwise successful year on a bad note. The Nanda Kishore directorial has reportedly made a disastrous opening at the worldwide box office.

Vrusshabha Box Office Collections Day 1

According to the recent updates by the box office tracking website Sacnilk, Vrusshabha has made an embarrassingly low opening at the worldwide box office, by making a gross collection of around ₹0.90 crore. In that case, the Nanda Kishore directorial is clearly emerging as one of the biggest box office disasters in the career of its leading man, Mohanlal.

The Sacnilk reports suggest that Vrusshabha has collected approximately ₹60 lakhs net collection from the all-India box office on its release day. The India gross collection of the period fantasy action film now stands at ₹70 lakhs. The overseas box office collection, on the other hand, has just touched the ₹20 lakhs mark. This is undoubtedly one of the lowest-ever box office collections in the career of Mohanlal, who is the biggest crowd-puller of Malayalam cinema.

The absolute lack of word-of-mouth publicity and extremely negative reviews have clearly impacted Vrusshabha. The lack of an effective promotional campaign has also severely affected the Nanda Kishore directorial at the box office.

Vrusshabha Cast And Crew

Mohanlal plays a double role as Raja Vijayendra Vrusshabha and Aadi Deva Varma in the Nanda Kishore film. Vrusshabha features a massive star cast including Samarjit Lankesh, Nayan Sarika, Ragini Dwivedi, Ajay, Neha Saxena, Vinay Varma, Ramachandra Raju, Ali, Kishore, and others in the supporting roles.

Jeetendra, the Bollywood actor has made a special appearance in the film. Sam CS composed the music score for the film, which is bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Motion Pictures, Connekkt Media, and Abhishek S Vyas Studios.
