Recently, the makers of Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu took to their official social media handles and revealed the official Day 1 box office collection of the Chiranjeevi starrer, with a special post. "₹84 CRORES+ WORLDWIDE GROSS for Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu (Premieres + Day 1) ALL TIME RECORD OPENINGS EVERYWHERE," reads the X (formerly Twitter) post by the makers. The Anil Ravipudi film has thus emerged as the megastar's all-time highest opener, at the worldwide box office.

Now, it has been confirmed that Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu has surpassed the Day 1 collections of Godfather, the 2022-released Chirnajeevi starrer. According to the reports by the box office tracking website Sacnilk, the Mohan Raja directorial which is an official remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer, had made Day 1 worldwide collection of ₹30.85 crore. The production banner, on the other hand, revealed that Godfather had collected around ₹38 crore.
