Recently, the lady superstar appeared in a Telugu interview to promote the Anil Ravipudi directorial, leaving her Telugu cinema fans pleasantly surprised. However, the Tamil cinema audiences on X are evidently miffed with the actress's decision.

A major group of Tamil cinema loyalists on X (formerly Twitter) are clearly miffed with Nayanthara's decision to promote Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu. They are pointing out that the actress never agreed to promote even the big ticket Tamil films she acted in, but broke her own rules for the Chiranjeevi starrer. They are accusing the popular actress of showing partiality towards her own projects.

"Nayanthara who won't do promotions for Tamil films, does Promotions for Telugu film," reads the X post of industry tracker Amutha Bharathi. However, the Jawan actress's fans are defending her, pointing out she has been appearing in a few promotional events for even her recent Tamil films.
