Spirit OTT Platform REVEALED: Prabhas, Sandeep Reddy Vanga Film Sets A New Record: The action thriller, which marks the first collaboration of the actor-director duo, is one of the most anticipated upcoming films of Indian cinema. Spirit, which is currently under the production, is slated to be released in March 2027. Reportedly, the Prabhas starrer has now created a new record in Telugu cinema, with its OTT deal.

As per the latest reports, the post-theatrical streaming rights of Spirit are already sold, even though the project is still its shooting stages. If the reports are to be believed, Netflix, the streaming giant has bagged the OTT rights of Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga project in all languages, for a record price. Interestingly, it is said to be the largest OTT deal price ever quoted by a Telugu film, yet.

According to the grapevine, the Spirit OTT deal price is higher than the total budget of Spirit, including the salaries of leading man Prabhas and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga. In that case, it is safe to assume that the upcoming action thriller will turn out as a highly profitable venture for its makers, long before even the team completes the shoot.

Even though both the Spirit team and the streaming giant have not confirmed these reports yet, an official announcement on the same is expected to be out with the next big update of the film. Spirit is expected to stream on Netflix in eight languages, including the Telugu original, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Japanese, Chinese and Korean, after its theatrical run.

Spirit Plot, Cast And Crew

Prabhas is set to play the central character, a former IPS officer who is on a dangerous mission, in Sandeep Reddy Vanga's film. Earlier, Chiranjeevi was rumoured to be playing a key role in Spirit. However, recent updates suggest that those reports were totally baseless. Gopichand Malineni is said to be approached to play the negative lead in the film.

Tripti Dimri, the popular Bollywood actress is set to make her Telugu cinema debut as the female lead of Spirit. Prakash Raj and Vivek Oberoi are expected to play key roles in the project. Raj Thot is the director of photography. Harshvardhan Rameshwar composes the original score for the much-awaited film, which is jointly produced by T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures.
