The popular Telugu actor recently took to his official social media handles and dropped a new poster of The Paradise, along with the film's new release date. "August 21st. 2026 #JadalZamanaFromAug21 #TheParadise," wrote Nani on his X handle, confirming the rumours about his ambitious project getting delayed. The new update has now left the fans of the talented actor and Telugu cinephiles, highly disappointed.

"I don't want to rush. I need some time to deliver it. #TheParadise - 21-08-2026," wrote director Srikanth Odela, who confirmed the new update on his official X handle. With the new announcement from the actor-director duo, it is now safe to assume that the reports about The Paradise getting delayed due to budget issues and production hurdles, are indeed true.

As reported earlier, The Paradise is being made as the most expensive projects in Nani's acting career. The Srikanth Odela directorial, which was initially planned with a budget of over ₹100 crore, has now reportedly gone way beyond its original budget. If the recent updates are to be believed, the production cost of the much-awaited action thriller has now crossed ₹200 crore.

The Paradise, which marks Nani's second collaboration with Srikanth Odela after the grand success of Dasara, stars Dragon fame actress Kayadu Lohar as the female lead. The action thriller reportedly features a massive star cast including Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal, and Sampoornesh Babu in the key roles. Anirudh Ravichander has composed the songs and the original score for the film.
