As per the reports, the Prabhas starrer has incurred major loses to its makers.

For the uninitiated, Prabhas decided to team up with popular banner People Media Factory after the failure of Adipurush, to compensate for the ₹50 crore losses faced by the Om Raut film. However, the team's latest venture, The Raja Saab, has reportedly incurred the losses of over ₹100 crore due to its extreme underperformance at the box office.

Now, the grapevine suggests that leading man Prabhas might step in again to help People Media Factor to recover from the losses caused by The Raja Saab. According to the Cine Chit Chat X handle, the Telugu superstar has promised to collaborate with the People Media Factory for another film. Interestingly, the actor is also planning to handover the Telugu distribution rights for his next film Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, to PMF.

However, the upcoming Prabhas starrer produced by People Media Factory will happen only in 2028, after the actor completes his current committed projects, including Spirit, Fauzi, and Kalki 2898 AD 2. Reportedly, the massive failure of The Raja Saab came out as a big shock for the team, as even the impressive OTT deal, combined with the box office collection couldn't recover its budget.

The Raja Saab OTT Release Date, Cast And Crew

If the reports are to be believed, The Raja Saab will get its OTT release on Jio Hotstar by the first weekend of February 2026. Prabhas played the titular role in the Maruthi directorial, which features Niddhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar, as the female leads. S Thaman composed the songs and background score for the film.
