The film fanatics are happy to see the Telugu superstar in a light-hearted role after a long series of highly intense roles and films. The Maruthi directorial has also managed to impress the audiences, who were waiting for a colourful, mindless film with some stunning visuals and picturesque songs.

Along with the celebratory nature of The Raja Saab, the movie has also impressed the audiences with its core plot - the deep bond between an elderly and her beloved grandson. The fantasy horror comedy film has also presented the pan Indian superstar in the way his fans have been waiting to see him from a long time. However, the audiences still feel that the film would have been a more impactful experience, if director Maruthi got rid of its too many characters and messy subplots.

The Raja Saab Plot, Cast And Crew

The Maruthi directorial revolves around the life of Raju, a young man who leads a quiet life with his grandmother Gangamma, who is an Alzheimer's patient. Even though she forgets almost everything, Gangamma still fondly remembers her husband Pekamedela Kanakaraju, who disappeared many years back. Raju, who is determined to find the whereabouts of his grandfather, soon reaches a haunted mansion and gets trapped in it.

Prabhas plays the role of Raju in The Raja Saab, which stars Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Zarina Wahab in the roles of Pekamedela Kanakaraju and Gangamma. Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, and Riddhi Kumar play the female leads in the film, which stars Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam, VTV Ganesh, Satya, Prabhas Sreenu, Yogi Babu, Saptagiri, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Jisshu Sengupta, and others in the supporting roles.

Thaman S composed the songs and the original score for The Raja Saab. Karthik Palani is the director of photography. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao handled the editing of the film, which is bankrolled by People Media Factory and IVY Entertainment.
