Ustaad Bhagat Singh, directed by Harish Shankar, made a decent opening at the box office on its release day. According to the recent reports by the box office tracking website Sacnilk, Ustaad Bhagat Singh has witnessed a 34% dip in its collections on Day 7, compared to the Day 6 earnings. This clearly indicates that the booking rates and audience rush for the Pawan Kalyan starrer have been steading going downhill, due to the negative reviews and lack of the word-of-mouth publicity among the common audiences.
The early updates by Sacnilk suggest that Ustaad Bhagat Singh has made a net collection of merely ₹1.14 crore from the worldwide box office, on Day 7. Now, the total India gross collection of the Pawan Kalyan starrer has touched ₹77.36 crore, while the total India net collections now stands at ₹65.74 crore. The reports also suggest that the total worldwide gross collections of the movie is ₹88.09 crore, according to the early Day 7 updates.
According to the new updates by the trade experts, Ustaad Bhagat Singh needs to collect at least ₹135 crore at the box office, to achieve breakeven. As of now, UBS has recovered only just the 34.46 percentage of its budget from the theatres. While considering the current box office trends, Pawan Kalyan and director Harish Shankar's latest film is highly unlikely to achieve breakeven, and might end up as a massive financial disaster.

Pawan Kalyan plays the titular character Ustaad Bhagat Singh in the Harish Shankar film. Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna appear as the female leads opposite the Power Star in UBS, which features R Parthiban, Ashutosh Rana, Nawab Shah, Rajeev Kanakala, Posani Krishna Murali, Gautami, Chammak Chandra, Panja Vaishnav Tej, and others in key roles. S Thaman and Devi Sri Prasad have composed the original score and songs respectively, for the film, respectively. The movie is bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
