100 Crore Malayalam Movies 2023

The movie, made with an estimated budget of Rs 25 crore, has achieved the status of being the fourth highest-grossing Malayalam film. Directed by Roby Varghese Raj and written by his brother Rony and Muhammed Shafi, it garnered favorable reviews. The film received acclaim for the cast's exceptional performances and the quality of its filmmaking. Mammootty portrayed the character of ASI George Martin was the major attraction of the movie. Apart from Mammootty,  the movie features  Rony David Raj, Sabareesh Varma, Kishore Kumar G, and Vijayaraghavan in significant roles.

The survival drama '2018,' centered around the Kerala floods, has claimed the title of the highest-grossing Malayalam film, surpassing Mohanlal's Pulimurugan, which had held the record since 2016. As per reports the film earned ₹153 crore globally less than a month since its release. Boasting an outstanding ensemble cast with Tovino Thomas, Indrans, Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, and more, '2018' has received critical acclaim for its compelling performances and gripping storyline.

'RDX,' featuring Shane Nigam, Antony Varghese, and Neeraj Madhav, achieved a significant milestone by joining the 100-crore club in October 2023.  Released in theaters during the Onam season, RDX enjoyed a glorious theatrical run despite competing with biggies like Dulquer Salmaan's King of Kotha and Nivin Pauly's Ramachandra Boss and Co.Acc. This action thriller, directed by debutant Nahas Hidayath and produced by Sophia Paul under Weekend Blockbusters, garnered praise. Shabas Rasheed is credited for the screenplay and dialogues, while Sam CS composed the music, with lyrics by Manu Manjith.

Romancham pivots around the happenings that follow the arrival of an Ouija board in the house where the seven men live. Pulling off situational comedy, and consistently eliciting laughs is not easy but Romanacham is effortless. The film directed by debutant Jithy Madhavan, hit the theaters on February 7 and received excellent responses from the audience and critics alike. Actors Soubin Shahir and Arjun Ashokan impressed the audience with their outstanding performances in the movie.
