2018 to Summer In Bethlam: Top 10 Box-Office Hit Multi-starrers Movies In Malayalam

Starring Tovino Thomas, Kunchako Boban, Asif Ali, Lal, Narian and Tanvi Ram, '2018: Every is a hero' is the first Malayalam film which crossed 150 crores at the International box-office. Helmed by Jude Anthany Joy, the film broken the box-office collection of Mohanlal's Pulimurugan, is the highest -grossing film ever in Malayalam. 

Anjali Menon's 'Bangalore Days' is  one of the best multi-starrer films in Malayalam. The family drama, which narrates story of three cousins, who are closely bonded to each other since child hood. Written and directed by Anjali Menon, the film starred actors  Dulquer Salmaan, Nazriya Nazim, Nivin Pauly, Fahadh Faasil, Isha Talwar and Menon. The film was released in theaters and  had collected Rs 63.82 crores on the third day of its big release. 

The 2019 film  was released in theeaters had received critical appreciation from audience as well as critics. The survival drama, which directed by Aashiq Abu featured Rima Kallingal, Tovino Thomas, Parvathy Thiruvoath, Poornima Indrajith, Asif Ali and Kunchako Boban. According to reports, the film earned Rs 27.5 crores from the Indian box-office. 

Lalajose's Vikramadithyan brought two young and talented actors together on-screen. The feel-good drama, starred  Dulquer Salmaan and Unni Mukundan in the lead roles. Actress Namitha Pramod who appeared in a female lead role opposite the two heroes.  The film was released in 2014, in more than 300 screens worldwide, highest opening ever by a Malayalam film

The 2008 film 'Twenty -20' is one of the block-buster hit movies in Malayalam. Helmed by Joishy, the film featured almost all Malayalam actors including big stars, heroines, supporting and comedian actors in the industry. The success of movie again brought the the multi-starrer trend in Malayalam cinema. As per the reports, the film was released in theaters and had collected Rs 6 crores at the box-office. 

Laljose's  'Classmates'  gave a magical experience to audience with stellar performance actors Prithviraj, Jayasurya, Narain, Kavya Madhavan, Indrajith and Narain. The campus film, which evokes the memories of romance, friendship and nostalgia.  

The big-budget movie 'Urumi' is a epic drama, which narrates  Portuguese invasion on the costal region of Kerala(Malabar). Directed by Santhosh Sivan, the film featured Prithviraj, Genelia D Souza, Prabhu Deva, Nithya Menon, Tabu, Vidya Balan. Released in 2011, the film had collected Rs 30 crores from the box-office. 

The  multi-starrer film released in 2003  and had emerged as the third highest-grossing Malayalam film of the year. Helmed by Kamal, it featured Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jayasurya, Kunchako Boban, Meera Jasmine and Bhavana in the lead roles. 

Helmed by hit-maker Fazil, the film 'Harikrishnans' is one of the super-hit multi-starrer movies ever made in Malayalam cinema. The film narrates a tale of two advocate friends - both named Harikrishan - who set out to crack a murder case. During their investigation they come across Meera and both fall in love with her. She too is in a dilemma because she likes both of them. Like a complete multi-starrer film, it featured Mohanlal, Mammotty, Juhi Chawla and Kunchako Boban in the main lead roles. As per reports , the film had collected Rs 3 crores at the  box-office. 

The film was released in 1998 and  broke box-office records of the time for all the right reasons. Sibi Malayil's excellent director and stellar cast performances of actors, which made the film has become a super hit film in the Malayalam. The feel good drama, featured   Suresh Gopi, Jayaram, Manju Warrier, and Kalabhavan Mani in the key roles.
