Marakkar Arabikadalinte Simham
Marakkar: Lion of the Arabian Sea might have been Mohanlal's most ambitious project but it still is one of the flop movies ever in Bollywood. Made with a budget of 100 crores, the film also starring Mohanlal collected just 39.72 Crore at the box-office. Written and directed by Priyadarshan, Marakkar narrates the story of Kunjali Marakkar, the fourth and the last of the Malayali naval leaders deployed by the Samoothiri of Calicut to fight in the war against the Portuguese in the 16th century. Apart from Mohanlal' the film also starred Prabhu, Suneil Shetty, Manju Warrier, Arjun Sarja, Mukesh and Keerthy Suresh in pivotal roles.
Iyobinte Pusthakam
As per reports, Fahadh Faasil's period-action drama failed to recover its budget of Rs 40 crore . The movie is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth. Released in 2014, Iyobinte Pusthakam is helmed by Amal Neerad. The film stars fahadh Faasil, Isha Sharvani, Jayasurya, Lal, Padmapriya, Reenu Mathews and Lena in the lead roles.
Veeram
Jayaraj's Veeram is one of the most expensive movies ever made in Malayalam cinema. The multi-lingual film made with a budget of 35 Crores, marked Bollywood actor Kunal Kapoor's debut in Malayalam. Speaking about its box-office performance, Veeram was declared a flop at the box-office due to the poor performance of the star cast.
Urumi
If reports are to be believed, the multi starrer drama failed to attract the audience to the big-screen with uninteresting screenplay. Featuring Prithviraj in the lead role, the film hit the theaters and received mixed reviews from the audience and critics. Urumi is a period-action drama, directed by National Award Winning Filmmaker Santhosh Shivan and featuring Genelia D'souza, Nithya Menon, Prabhu Deva, Tabu and Vidya Balan in the prominent roles.

The film hit the theaters in 2023 and tanked at the box-office with critics and audiences bashing the movie for being cringe-worthy, and cold.
