Actresses Who Were Born In Kerala But Made Their Mark In Other Film Industries

Born in Kerala  Malavika Mohanan is prominent face in the Malayalam and Tamil film industry. She is the daughter of famous cinematographer K.U.Mohanan. He had worked behind for many  Hinidi and Malayalam  movies includes Aaja Nachle, Talaash, Jab Harry Met Sejal,Carbon, Ezhu Sundara Rathrikal and Aadujeevitham. Talking about Malavika, who made her acting debut in the 2013 film 'Pattom Pole' opposite actor Dulquer Salmaan. She then, made her debut in Kannda cinema with 'Naanu Mattu Varalakshmi'. Helmed by Preetham Gubbi, the film marks debut of Malavika Mohanan and actor Prithvi. In 2017, she made her Bollywood debut through the Majid Maji's movie 'Beyond The Clouds'. The actress who essayed the role as Tara in the movie has won the hearts of the audience.

Later, she came back to the South Indian Film industry through the Superstar Rajnikanth's movie 'Petta'. After success of her debut Tamil movie 'Petta', she later appeared in lead role along with the actor Thalapathy Vijay 's 'Master'. Her performances in the movie 'Maaran' opposite Dhanush, had gained attention of audience in the industry. As per the latest reports, she will be seen in the upcoming Tamil movie 'Thangalaan'. 

After success of blockbuster Telugu hit 'Beemmla Nayak' Samyuktha Menon, now became a leading actress in the Telugu Film industry. As an actress she made her debut in the 2016 Malayalam movie 'Popcorn', but she had gained the attention after the success of movie 'Theevandi'. She then, stepped into the Telugu film industry in 2022 film Beemmla Nayak. Her another Telugu hits movies includes Bimbisara and Virupaskha.

Actress Anupama Parameswaran is a popular Malayali actress who is well known for her Telugu hit movies like Karthikeya 2, Krishnarjuna Yudham , Hello Guru Prema Kosame and more . Born in Kerala, she made her acting debut in the super hit romantic movie 'Premam' in 2015. After success of Premam,later she moved to Telugu film industry and worked with many big stars like Nani, Sharwanand and Nithiin. Apart from acting in Telugu films she also appeared in few Tamil movies which includes Kodi and Thalli Pogathey. 

The talented actress started her acting career in the critically acclaimed film 'Maheshintea Prathikaram ' in 2016. Asin is one of the most popular and beloved actresses in the Hindi and South Indian Cinema. She made her debut in the  Malayalam film 'Narendran Makan Jayakanthan Vaka' in the year 2001 and later stepped into the Tamil film industry. After success of her debut Tamil film 'M. Kumaran Son of Mahalakshmi',she worked with actor Suriya  in the movie 'Ghajini'. Her breakthrough performances in the movie had gained the attention of audience across the nation. The film was directed by Muragadose, had received excellant reponses from the audience. Her another hit Tamil movies includes Pokkiri, Vel,  Dasavathaaram.

 Apart from this, she made her debut in Hindi Cinema with 'Ghajini'. The film is an official remake of Tamil super hit with the same title. Asin also became part of many block-buster hit Bollywood movies like Ready, Housefull 2 , Bol Bachchan and  Khiladi 786.
