Kannur Squad, Bilal and more; A look at Megastar Mammootty's forthcoming films

Touted to be an investigative thriller drama, the film features actor Mammotty in lead role. Helmed by Roby Varghese Raj, the second look poster of the film was released on April 23 had gained attention of cinephiles. Many netizens found the film will give a similar taste of Megastar's film 'Unda'. As per the latest resources, actor Mammotty who will plays a police officer role in the movie. Scripted by Muhammed Shafi along with Rony David Raj, it also features Deepak Parambol, Sajin Cherukayil and Gibin Gopinath in supporting roles. Produced by Mammootty under his production company, the film is set to hit the theaters in December 2023.

Mammootty's Bilal is one of the most-anticipated movies this year. Billed as a gangster drama, 'Bilal' is the sequel to the block-buster hit movie ' Big-B'.Directed by Amal Neerad, it marks his third collaboration with Megastar Mammootty after Beeshmaparvam and Big -B. According to reports, Mammootty's 'Beeshmaparvam'has crossed 30 crores at the Indian Box Office. It has to become ninth highest grossing Malayalam film of all time. Written by Unni R , it features Mammootty in lead role. Apart from him, actors Manoj K. Jayan, Bala and Mamta Mohandas will appear in key roles. 

Directed by Jeo Baby, the film 'Kaathal – The Core' announced its release date recently. Starring Mammootty and Jyothika in lead roles , the film is set to hit the big-screen on May 11. Touted to be a family entertainer, Mammootty who will appear in the role of a politician while actress Jyothika will be seen as his wife in the movie. Written by the director himself, the film marks first collaboration of Jeo Baby with Mammootty. The upcoming movie is produced under the banner of Mammootty's production company, also marks actress Jyothika's comeback to Mollywood after 13 years. 

The film 'Bazooka' is a upcoming movie of actor Mammootty. Directed by  Deeno, the film features Mammootty in lead role. Touted to be a mass-action thriller drama, the first look poster of the film was  released by actor Mammooty on his twitter account. Written and directed by Deeno, 'Bazooka ' is a massive budget film, it will be released on theaters this year end.
