Most Awaited Malyalam Movies In 2024

Lijo Jose Pellissery directs this high-budget period drama featuring Mohanlal in the lead role. With an anticipated audience eagerness, the film is being crafted with a budget of 100 crores. Apart from Mohanlal, Marathi actress Sonalee Kulkarni and Hareesh Peradi will be seen in the prominent roles. Produced by Shibu Baby John's John and Mary Creative along with Max Lab Cinemas and Century Films. The cinematography of the film is by Madhu Neelakandan and the music is composed by Prashant Pillai. As per the latest reports, the film will is all set to hit the theaters on January 25, 2024.

There's a lot of buzz around the forthcoming horror thriller drama 'Bramayugam' starring Mammootty in the lead role. The film went on floors in August this year and the makers shared the first look of the movie on the occassion of Megastar Mammoootty's 72nd birthday. Helmed by  helmed by Rahul Sadasivan, 'Bramayugam' is the first film which is produced under the banner of Night Shift Studios. According to the reports, the movie is scheduled to be released in 2024 in four languages: Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi.

Nadikar Thilakam is an upcoming comedy drama, is  directed by Lal Jr and features Soubin Shahir, Anoop Menon, Dhyan Sreenivasan and Shine Tom Chacko. With a budget of Rs 40 crore, the film is a collaborative production between Mythri Movie Makers and God Speed Productions. The cinematography will be handled by Albie while the music has been composed by Yakzan Gary Pereira and Neha Nair

The movie is second part of Prithviraj directorial movie 'Lucifer'. In the movie actors Mohanlal and Sachin Khedekar in distinctive roles. The journey of Stephen Nedumpilly, and how he came to lead a global organisation of criminals and the mafia is the subject of the movie.

Mohanlal is set to join forces with producer Ekta Kapoor for an upcoming pan-Indian movie titled "Vrushabha." Directed by Kannada filmmaker Nanda Kishore, the film will be initially shot in Malayalam and Telugu, with plans for dubbing into other languages. This marks Mohanlal's debut collaboration with Ekta Kapoor. Billed as an action entertainer, the film will be released in theaters in 2024.

This is an upcoming crime thriller drama, directed by debutant filmmaker Deeno Dennis, son of veteran scriptwriter Kaloor Dennis. Mammootty who will be essaying lead role in the movie, is being produced by Yoodlee Films. the film studio arm of Saregama India Limited and is co-produced by Theatre of Dreams. Gautham Menon also plays a significant role, and the film promises to be technically top-notch. Mithun Mukundan, known for his work in 'Rorschach', handles the music, while Nimish Ravi takes charge of cinematography.

Aadujeevitham is a highly anticipated Malayalam movie directed by Blessy, based on the novel written by Benyamin. It stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jimmy Jean-Louis and the Malayalam star plays an Indian migrant worker. Actress Amala Paul who will be seen in a female lead role in the movie. Blessy is at the helm of this enthralling drama, though the project's release date remains undisclosed.

The film is directed by Rojin Thomas and is based on a priest ( Kadamattathu Kathanar) from Kerala who was known for possessing supernatural powers and Dark Sorcery.  Actor Jayasurya and the Telugu actress Anushka Shetty from ‘Bahubali’ will be in the lead roles for ‘Kathanar.’ Crafted with a budget of Rs 90 crore, the first part of the movie is set to release in 2024 across 14 different languages.

Starring Fahadh Faasil and Chemban Vinod in pivotal roles, the movie is scheduled for a theatrical release in the initial week of January 2024.

The film is expected to be released in 2024.
