Bramayugam is a Malayalam horror-thriller movie directed by Rahul Sadasivan. The film features Megastar Mammootty in a significant role.  The movie is jointly produced by Chakravarthy Ramchandra and S.Sashikanth under the banner of Night Shift Studios LLP and Y Not Studios. Billed as a horror thriller drama, the film's script is penned by the director Rahul Sadasivan. Apart from Mammootty, the film also features Siddharth Bharathan, Arjun Ashokan, and Amalda Liz in key roles. The film has cinematography by Shehnad Jalal and music by Christo Xavier.  Superstar Mammootty took to Twitter to share the latest update on his upcoming film Bramayugam, helmed by Bhoothakaalam director Rahul Sadasivan on November 18, 2023. The film will be released in theaters in black and white format, confirmed the makers.  Billed as a pan-Indian release Bramayugam will be released in five languages.  Movie Plot Set in 17th-century Kerala, 'Bramayugam' unfolds the tales of three crucial characters, portrayed by Mammootty as Potti/Chaathan, Arjun Ashokan as Thevan, and Sidharth Bharathan as Kodumon Potti's son. As the story unfolds, Thevan and Kodumon Potti's son find themselves entangled in a gripping battle against Chaathan, a malevolent spirit set on inflicting torment. Seamlessly blending historical fiction with supernatural horror, 'Bramayugam' navigates a captivating tale of survival against the backdrop of Kerala's lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage. On the other hand, the movie follows a typical storyline reminiscent of old folktales, evoking a sense of curiosity and wonder. Release Date The film ' Bramayugam 'was be released in five languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi on February 15, 2024.
