Shefali Jariwala To Sidharth Shukla: Formal Bigg Boss Contestants We Lost Too Soon

Shefali Jariwala, who rose to fame with the song Kaanta Laga and later appeared in Bigg Boss 13, passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 42. She reportedly suffered a cardiac arrest after a sudden drop in blood pressure, and despite being rushed to the hospital, she was declared dead on arrival. 

Sonali Phogat, a BJP leader and former Bigg Boss 14 wildcard contestant, passed away on August 23, 2022 in Goa. Initially reported as a heart attack, her post-mortem later revealed multiple blunt-force injuries, prompting police to register a murder case and arrest two individuals who had accompanied her. 

Sidharth Shukla, the popular actor and winner of Bigg Boss 13, passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 40 after suffering a massive heart attack in Mumbai. Known for his charm, strong personality, and unforgettable journey in the Bigg Boss house, his sudden demise left fans and the entertainment industry in shock.

Swami Om, who became widely known after his stint in Bigg Boss 10, passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 63 in Delhi. He had been battling health issues after contracting COVID-19 and later suffered a paralysis attack that left half of his body affected.

Pratyusha Banerjee was a contestant on Bigg Boss Season 7 (also known as Bigg Boss Saath 7), which aired from September to December 2013. She entered the house as a celebrity participant and was evicted on Day 63. Pratyusha Banerjee died on April 1, 2016, at age 24 in her Mumbai residence. The post-mortem report identified asphyxia due to hanging, indicating suicide.
