Toby is a mute man who is used as an assassin by the village chief, Ananda. He is also a loving father to Jenny, a young girl he found abandoned. When Ananda meddles with Jenny, Toby seeks revenge. The movie begins with Sampath, a new sub-inspector, joining the police force. He is told to ignore missing persons cases, but he is intrigued by Toby's disappearance.
Sampath meets Jenny, who tells him that Toby is her foster father and that Ananda took him away. He also meets Savithri, a sex worker who has fallen in love with Toby. Sampath eventually learns that Ananda is a corrupt businessman who has ruined Jenny's life. The movie ends with Toby's fate being revealed.
