Dishani grew up in Mumbai alongside her three older brothers—Mimoh (Mahakshay), Ushmey, and Namashi Chakraborty. She completed her early education in India before pursuing her passion for acting. To follow her dreams in the performing arts, she moved to the United States, where she graduated from the New York Film Academy (L.A. Campus) and also trained at the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.
Following in her father’s cinematic footsteps, Dishani Chakraborty has carved a niche for herself in independent cinema and theatre. She made her screen debut in 2017 with the Hollywood short film Gift. Expanding her creative horizons, she went on to write, produce, and act in several independent short films, including Holy Smoke!, Underpass, and the critically appreciated 2022 project The Guest. Alongside her work in films, Dishani has also explored theatre, performing in the play Seminar at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, where her performance reportedly received praise from Hollywood legend Al Pacino.
Myles Mantzaris is an American freelance cinematographer, Steadicam operator, director of photography (DP), and colorist based in Los Angeles. He gained widespread public attention in June 2026 after news of his engagement to Dishani Chakraborty, the daughter of Bollywood legend Mithun Chakraborty, surfaced, bringing him into the spotlight beyond his work in the film industry.
