Bollywood
movie
Rascals,
which
stars
Sanjay
Dutt,
Ajay
Devgn,
Kangna
Ranaut
and
Lisa
Haydon
in
the
leads,
has
failed
to
capitalise
the
4-day
weekend
and
trade
experts
feel
that
negative
feedback
is
the
reason
behind
its
poor
performance.
The
comedy
entertainer
has
collected
Rs
23.5
crores
net
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
Sanjay-Ajay
starrer
Rascals,
which
was
released
on
Thursday,
received
good
response
and
its
collection
crossed
Rs
7.15
crore
on
the
opening
day.
But
bad
reviews
from
film
critics
and
bad
word
of
mouth
made
its
business
go
down
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
following
days.
It
earned
Rs
5.15
crore,
Rs
4.70
crore
and
Rs
5.35
crore
on
Friday,
Saturday
and
Sunday
respectively.
However,
other
two
new
releases
like
Love
Breakups
Zindagi
and
Soundtrack
had
a
poor
opening
weekend.
Both
movies
suffered
at
the
Box
Office
due
to
their
dragging
screenplay.
Previous
release
Force,
which
had
great
opening
weekend,
did
not
do
well
in
the
second
week.
Its
collection
was
affected
by
new
releases.
