Avengers effect: Tezz scores Rs 11 cr at Box Office in 3 days

Call it The Avengers effect! Tezz, one of the most-awaited action movies of the year 2012, has received very poor response at the Box Office in the opening weekend. The movie was expected to fetch very high numbers, but it has scored just Rs 11 crore at the collection centres in the first weekend.

Multi starrer Hollywood flick, The Avengers got a tremendous opening at the Box Office on Friday. This stupendous response sent shocking waves to Tezz on the first day of its release. Ajay Devgn and Anil Kapoor starrer movie was registered dismal figures in its opening weekend. The early estimates show that the break of its collection is Fri 3.5 cr, Sat 3.5 cr, Sun 4 cr. Total: Rs 11 cr nett.

Meanwhile, previous week's release Vicky Donor is still going on strong at the Box Office, which is also one reason for the poor collection of the movie Tezz. It has maintained business well and collected approximately Rs 7.5 cr in the second weekend. With this, its 10-day collection has reached Rs 22 crore nett.

However, Tezz is a multi-starrer movie, which features Ajay Devgn, Anil Kapoor, Zayed Khan, Kangna Ranaut, Sameera Reddy, Mohanlal in the leads. It had extensive promotion. Besides this, it has received good reviews from the film critics. But it is really sad that it fetched a poor numbers at Box Office. It should be seen whether it will pick up on weekdays.
