Rohit
Shetty's
recent
release
Bol
Bachchan,
which
got
a
superb
response
in
the
first
week,
has
failed
to
cross
Rs
100
crores
mark
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
week.
Trade
analyst
feel
that
the
collection
of
Ajay
Devgn
and
Abhishek
Bachchan
starrer
was
affected
by
Cocktail
and
Tamil
movie
Billa
2.
Although
Bol
Bachchan
had
a
tough
competition
from
Telugu
movie
Eega,
it
did
a
wonderful
business
with
its
collection
crossing
Rs
66.72
crores
nett
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
country.
Trade
experts
felt
that
it
would
cross
Rs
100
crore
mark
in
the
second
week.
The
movie
was
expected
to
gross
Rs
33.28
crore,
but
it
failed
to
rake
in
even
half
of
the
amount.
Bol
Bachchan
collected
Rs
15
crores
nett
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend.
It
was
expected
to
surpass
this
mark
at
least
on
weekdays.
But
it
added
only
Rs
7
crores
nett
to
two
weeks'
total
Rs
90.93
crores
nett.
The
business
of
the
movie
was
severely
affected
by
new
releases
like
Cocktail
and
Billa
2.
However,
Cocktail
is
still
giving
a
tough
competition
to
Bol
Bachchan
this
weekend,
which
has
witnessed
the
release
of
new
films
like
Gattu,
Mere
Dost
Picture
Abhi
Baki
Hai
and
Challo
Driver.
Moreover,
most-anticipated
film
from
the
Dark
Knight
series,
The
Dark
Knight
Rises
has
also
released
in
India
today.
Trade
Analysts
feel
all
these
films
may
not
allow
Bol
Bachchan
to
cross
Rs
100
crore
mark
this
weekend
too.
