Hollywood
movie
The
Dark
Knight
Rises
(TDKR),
the
most-anticipated
movie
of
The
Dark
Knight
series,
has
embarked
on
a
fabulous
start
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
The
film
is
giving
tough
competition
to
Hindi
movies
like
Cocktail,
Gattu,
Mere
Dost
Picture
Abhi
Baki
Hai
(MDPABH)
and
Challo
Driver.
Its
business
is
a
way
ahead
of
collection
of
new
releases
in
the
country.
The
Dark
Knight
Rises
has
been
released
in
maximum
number
of
multiplexes
in
all
big
cities
across
the
country
today
(Friday,
July
20).
It
has
a
limited
release
in
single
screens.
The
movie
has
stolen
the
march
with
a
fabulous
start
at
multiplexes
in
all
major
centres.
It
was
running
packed
houses
in
the
morning
and
afternoon
shows.
Whereas,
Hindi
films
like
Gattu,
Mere
Dost
Picture
Abhi
Baki
Hai
and
Challo
Driverhave
opened
to
lukewarm
response
at
the
collection
centres
across
the
country.
According
to
trade
experts,
The
Dark
Knight
Rises
has
made
a
big
dent
in
their
business
at
major
centres.
However,
the
business
of
Cocktail,
which
was
released
weekend,
was
expected
to
show
a
good
performance
at
the
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend
too.
But
this
movie
also
seemed
to
have
been
affected
by
The
Dark
Knight
Rises
as
it
has
had
a
very
low
occupancy
in
the
morning
and
afternoon
shows.
It
should
be
seen
whether
it
shows
an
upward
trend
in
the
evening
and
night
shows.
