Bollywood
movie
Gali
Gali
Chor
Hai,
starring
Akshaye
Khanna,
Shriya
Saran
and
Mugdha
Godse
in
leads,
has
received
a
lukewarm
response
at
the
Box
Office
on
opening
day.
The
movie
got
rave
reviews
from
most
of
the
film
critics
and
it
was
expected
that
it
would
garner
good
numbers
at
collection
centres.
Gali
Gali
Chor
Hai,
which
released
this
Friday,
had
a
very
poor
response
at
multiplexes
on
the
first
day.
The
movie
registered
15-25%
occupancy
in
plexes
across
the
country.
Whereas
at
single
screens,
the
film
had
slightly
better,
but
it
was
not
up
to
the
expectations
of
the
makers
of
the
movie.
However,
last
week's
release
Agneepath
has
continued
to
rock
the
Box
Office.
Trade
experts
think
that
its
successful
run
is
the
main
reason
for
poor
performance
of
Gali
Gali
Chor
Hai.
Another
possible
reason
for
it
is
the
India-Australia
Twenty20
cricket
match.
The
film
needs
to
show
a
big
jump
in
business
to
earn
respectable
numbers
in
the
opening
weekend.
