Khiladi 786 received mixed reviews from film critics.
The word of mouth was expected to take its business upwards over
the weekend. Its collection went up, but not upto the mark. It
earned Rs 11.15 crores on Saturday and approximately Rs 12.75
crores on Sunday. It has collected a total of Rs 33.5 crores nett
at the domestic collection centres in the first weekend.
However, Talaash had collected Rs 47+ crores from 2,600 screens at the desi Box Office in the opening weekend. Khiladi 786, which released in more number of screens when compared to it, was expected to surpass Rs 50 crore mark in the first week, but it could not. It should be seen whether it will cross this mark at least in the first week.
