Ranbir's Barfi crosses 50 crore mark at Indian Box Office

Bollywood movie Barfi, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Ileana D'Cruz in leads, has continued to rock the viewers across the country on weekdays. Director Anurag Basu's latest film has collected Rs 54.10 crores at the Indian Box Office in just six days. It has become fastest Rs 50 crore grosser romantic comedy of the year 2012.

After a rocking business in the first weekend, Barfi continued to keep the bells ringing at the Box Office in country. The movie has collected Rs 19.5 crores at the Box Office on weekdays taking its six day collection to Rs 47.10 crores. Its weekdays business is at par with its weekend collection. Its breakup is Rs 9.2 cr on Fri, Rs 11.5 cr on Sat, Rs 13.9 cr on Sun, Rs 6.5 cr on Mon and Rs 6 cr on Tue.

Barfi did very good collection on Wednesday which was due to Ganesh festival holiday. The Ranbir-Priyanka star starrer collected Rs 7 crores nett on the sixth day. However, today is a nationwide bandh and it is surely going to take a toll on its collection as most of the theatres remained closed today. Now, it should be seen whether it would surpass Rs 60 crore mark in the first week.
