Ranbir
Kapoor's
latest
movie
Barfi,
which
has
been
directed
by
Anurag
Basu,
has
once
again
kept
the
bells
ringing
at
the
Box
Office
in
India
in
the
second
week
too.
The
romantic
comedy
film
gave
a
tough
time
to
new
release
Heroine
starring
his
cousin
Kareena
Kapoor.
With
its
extraordinary
collection
in
14
days,
it
is
now
moving
close
to
Rs
100
crore
mark
in
the
domestic
business
centres.
Trade
experts
predicted
that
Kareena
Kapoor's
Heroine,
which
hit
the
screens
on
September
21,
would
send
down
the
collection
of
Barfi.
But
it
was
vice
versa.
Barfi
continued
to
rock
at
the
collections
in
the
second
week.
It
badly
affected
the
business
of
Heroine,
which
collected
Rs
37
crores
in
the
first
week.
Barfi
had
done
wonderful
business
in
the
first
week
with
its
seven-day
collection
reaching
Rs
58+
crore
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
It
fell
down
by
50%
in
the
second
week,
but
it
was
still
good,
when
compared
to
Heroine.
It
added
Rs
28.55
crores
nett
in
the
second
week
to
its
14-day
total
Rs
87.15
crores
nett.
Its
week
2
breakup
is
Rs
4.1
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
6
cr
on
Sat,
Rs
7
cr
on
Sun,
Rs
3.25
cr
on
Mon,
Rs
3.10
cr
on
Tue,
Rs
2.6
cr
on
Wed
and
Rs
2.5
cr
on
Thu.
However,
Barfi
is
going
to
be
the
next
movie
to
join
Rs
100
crore
club
and
it
needs
Rs
12.85
crores
to
surpass
this
big
mark.
The
film
is
now
facing
big
threat
from
OMG
Oh
My
God
and
Kamaal
Dhamaal,
which
have
hit
the
screens
today.
Will
Barfi
beat
them
and
cross
Rs
100
crore
mark
in
the
third
week.
