Salman's Dabangg 2 five days collection at Box Office

Arbaaz Khan's Dabangg 2, which had done superb collection over the weekend, has continued to do good business at the Indian Box Office on weekdays too. The Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha starrer movie has failed to cross Rs 100 crore mark at the domestic collection centres in five days, and thereby failing to smash the record of Salman's previous release Ek Tha Tiger.

Dabangg 2, which released in 3,500 screens in the country on December 21, opened to an earth-shattering response at the desi Box Office and collected Rs 65 crores nett in the first weekend. The romantic action movie continued to keep the bells ringing at the ticket windows across the country on weekdays too.

Dabangg 2 witnessed a drop of 40% in its business on Monday. But its fourth day collection was far better than that of Rowdy Rathore, which had raked in Rs 9.5 crores on its first Monday. But the movie witnessed a huge jump in its business on Tuesday due to Christmas holiday. The movie fetched Rs 27 crores at the domestic Box Office in two days.

With this, Dabangg 2 has collected Rs 92.16 crores nett at the desi Box Office in five days. Its breakup is Rs 21.10 cr on Fri, Rs 19.06 cr on Sat, Rs 25 cr on Sun, Rs 12 cr on Mon and Rs 16 cr on Tue. However, the Arbaaz Khan directed film was expected to break the record of Ek Tha Tiger, which had raked in Rs 101.16 crores at the domestic Box Office, but it has failed to do it.
