Director
Kunal
Kohli's
latest
movie
Teri
Meri
Kahaani
(TMK)
has
topped
the
collection
chart
at
the
Box
Office
by
pushing
down
Anurag
Kashyap's
film
Gangs
Of
Wasseypur
(GOW).
Shahid
Priyanka
starrer
has
raked
in
Rs
16.75

while

break
the

of
Shahid's
last
film
Mausam,
which
had
grossed
Rs
23
crores
nett
in
the
opening
weekend.
Teri
Meri
Kahaani
is
one
of
the
most
expected
romantic
thrillers
of
2012
and
it
was
expected
to
get
a
tremendous
opening
at
the
Box
Office.
But
the
movie
received
an
average
response
at
the
collection
centres
and
concluded
the
Friday
with
a
collection
of
Rs
5.25
crores
nett
at
the
Box
Office
in
India.
Trade
analyst
opined
that
the
business
of
Teri
Meri
Kahaani
would
improve
on
the
following
days.
Yes!
There
was
certain
amount
of
growth
in
its
collection,
but
it
was
not
upto
the
mark.

On
the
other
hand,
Gangs
Of
Wasseypur,
which
is
also
one
of
the
most-awaited
movies,
opened
to
a
very
low
response,
but
there
was
a
big
growth
in
its
business
in
the
evening
and
night
shows
on
Friday.
It
has
received
good
response
at
multiplexes
in
metros,
while
its
business
at
single

was
weak.

However,
the
loss
of
Teri
Meri
Kahaani
and
Gangs
Of
Wasseypur
was
the
gain
of
old
releases
like
Ferrari
Ki
Sawaari
(FKS)
and
Rowdy
Rathore,
which
still
had
a
good
time
at
the
Box
Office.

crores
to
its
