Last
week's
Hindi
release
Grand
Masti
once
again
kept
the
bells
ringing
at
the
Indian
Box
Office
in
the
second
weekend.
Despite
the
release
of
Phata
Poster
Nikla
Hero
and
The
Lunchbox,
the
Vivek
Oberoi,
Aftab
Shivdasani
and
Riteish
Deshmukh
starrer
has
done
superb
collection
in
the
domestic
market
and
become
the
fifth
highest
grosser
of
2013,
pushing
down
Aashiqui
2
to
the
sixth
place.
Trade
experts
had
predicted
that
Phata
Poster
Nikla
Hero
and
The
Lunchbox
would
halt
the
rocking
run
of
Grand
Masti.
Contrary
to
their
predictions,
the
adult
comedy
film
has
become
the
first
choice
for
many
viewers
in
its
second
week.
When
compared
to
its
collection
on
its
first
day,
the
movie
witnessed
85%+
dip
in
its
business
on
its
second
Friday,
but
it
showed
upward
trends
on
Saturday
and
Sunday.
In
the
second
week,
Grand
Masti,
which
had
minted
Rs
67.40
crores
in
the
first
week,
has
collected
14.65
crore
nett
at
the
Indian
Box
Office,
taking
its
11-day
domestic
total
to
Rs
82.05
crores
nett.
Its
breakup
is
Rs
3.40
cr
on
Fri,
Rs
4.15
cr
on
Sat,
Rs
5.10
cr
on
Sun
and
Rs
2
cr
on
Mon.
Now,
many
in
B-Town
are
keeping
their
fingers
crossed
to
know
whether
it
will
surpass
Rs
100
crore
mark
in
the
domestic
market
or
not.
