Bollywood
movie
Inkaar
has
concluded
the
first
week
with
an
average
collection
at
the
Indian
Box
Office.
The
Arjun
Rampal
and
Chitrangada
Singh
starrer
topped
the
business
chart,
pushing
down
other
new
releases
like
Mumbai
Mirror
and
Bandook.
The
last
week's
release
Matru
Ki
Bijlee
Ka
Mandola
(MKBKM)
starring
Imran
Khan
and
Anushka
Sharma
in
leads,
has
landed
in
the
second
place.
New
releases
like
Inkaar,
Mumbai
Mirror
and
Bandook
opened
to
poor
response
at
the
Box
Office.
They
were
expected
to
go
up
over
the
weekend.
Inkaar
showed
a
little
improvement
in
its
collection,
but
Mumbai
Mirror
and
Bandook
remained
same.
Inkaar
collected
Rs
6.35
crores
nett
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
its
first
weekend.
But
the
business
of
Inkaar
dropped
by
more
than
50%
on
weekdays
when
compared
to
its
first
day
collection
-
Rs
1.75
crore.
The
movie
collected
Rs
70
lakhs
on
Monday.
Its
collection
continued
to
drop
further
on
other
weekdays.
It
added
Rs
3.15
crores
to
its
first
week
total
Rs
9.5
crores
nett.
Whereas
Mumbai
Mirror
and
Bandook
have
fetched
negligible
numbers
at
the
domestic
Box
Office.
Meanwhile,
Matru
Ki
Bijlee
Ka
Mandola
had
collected
Rs
33.17
crores
nett
at
the
domestic
Box
Office
in
the
first
week.
The
Imran-Anushka
starrer
continued
to
keep
the
bells
ringing
at
the
ticket
windows.
It
collected
Rs
4.95
crores
in
the
second
weekend
and
on
weekdays,
it
added
Rs
3.05
crores
to
its
14-day
total
Rs
41
crores
nett.
However,
Saif
Ali
Khan's
much-awaited
movie
Race
2
and
Aakshavani
have
hit
the
screens
today.
Of
the
two,
Race
2
has
opened
to
a
good
response
at
the
Box
Office.
Trade
experts
feel
that
it
would
slow
down
the
collection
of
Inkaar
and
Matru
Ki
Bijlee
Ka
Mandola
further.
