Raja Natwarlal of Emraan Hashmi did get a good opening at the Indian Box Office in spite of releasing on a holiday. The film made just Rs 6.10 crores of Friday which is very less compare to other Bollywood films.
Emraan is a star so the film was expected to make more than Rs 10 crores but sadly the holiday did not work in the movie's favour and it made very less Box Office collection. Based on word of mouth promotion the film's collection was expected to pick up on the second day but sadly the collection of Raja Natwarlal reduced even more on the first Saturday of the movie's release.
The fall in Saturday's collection compared to Friday was 15-20%, the Saturday Box Office collection was just Rs 5.25 crores. This fall doesn't seem to be a good sign for the movie. Even for an Emraan Hashmi film, this number is quite less but the collection of two day's put together is more than Rani's Mardaani.
But due to good reviews and word of mouth promotion, the film is still going steady at the Box Office. Even Singham Returns is going steady, technically these two films should have been affected by Raja Natwarlal's release but due to the bad reviews the film's collection seems to have been affected badly.
The opening day collection of Raja Natwarlal is the seventh highest in the actor's career. Raaz 3 remains the top-grosser with Rs.10.47 crore, followed by The Dirty Picture with Rs.9.54 crore and Jannat with Rs.8.52 crore.
Let's wait and watch of the film's Sunday collections will be any better so that film can put some decent weekend Box Office figures. In spite of movie reviews being bad and the collections decreasing by the day, audiences on social networking sites are praising this to be one of the best movies of Emraan Hashmi.
