When you work in small screen as well, you always dream of achieving the fame and more popularity which comes only in Bollywood. Who says that a normal layman cannot become a star? A lot of talented celebrities in Bollywood industry started from small screen. For example, Shahrukh Khan made his small screen debut with television series, Fauji. Who knew that the Fauji will become the King or Badshah of Bollywood. He has fans worldwide and SRK is one of the most talented actors on the silver screen.

Some small screen actors like Sushant Singh Rajput, Vidya Balan, Prachi Desai, Rajeev Khandelwal, Aditya Roy Kapur and many more started their acting career with small screen and slowly showed their skills on silver screen as well.

Many television actors who ruled the telly industry are now taking Bollywood by storm. The recent ones are Jay Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla who are making their Bollywood debut with the erotic thriller, Hate Story 2. Both Jay and Surveen are from television who are going to be seen on silver screen in the much awaited sequel to hit film, Hate Story.

Apart from Jay Bhanushali and Surveen Chawla, many other television actors like Barun Sobti, Gurmeet Choudhary, Karan Singh Grover and Karan Wahi to name a few are going to make their Bollywood debut soon.

Balika Vadhu's star Siddharth Shukla is also going to be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in the upcoming comedy, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. Here is a look at the television stars who will debut in Bollywood this year.

Jay Bhanushali

Jay is the new talk of the town. After appearing in many TV serials and hosting shows, Jay is finally going to be seen on silver screen. His upcoming movie is Hate Story 2.

Siddharth Shukla

The handsome actor who shot to fame with Balika Vadhu has apparently signed 3 films with Karan Johar. He was first seen on silver screen in 2007's released I Am In Love. The movie boomed so was his Bollywood career. However, things are getting back to him and Siddharth will be seen in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania next.

Surveen Chawla

Surveen is getting many appreciations for her bold and erotic role in the upcoming flick, Hate Story 2. Surveen who made her TV debut with Kahin To Hoga has worked in many regional films. She has also done cameo appearances in Hum Tum Shabana and Himmatwala. However, she is making her lead Bollywood debut with Jay Bhanushali in Hate Story 2.

Barun Sobti

The handsome television hottie Iss Pyaar Ko Kyaa Naam Doon is really busy with Bollywood projects. After wrapping up Main Aur Mr Right and 22 Yards, Barun has got a big ticket with John Abraham's Satra Ko Shaadi Hai.

Payel Sarkar

The Bong beauty is making her debut opposite Kunal Khemu in Guddu Ki Gun.

Gurmeet Choudhary

The rough and tough handsome TV hottie Gurmeet who shot to fame with Geet Hui Sabse Parayi will be seen in Khamoshiyaan-The Sound of Silence opposite Sapna Pabbi. Gurmeet has signed a 3 films deal with Mahesh Bhatt.

Karan Singh Grover

The handsome television actor who is known as the Salman Khan of the TV industry is another actor who will make his Bollywood debut with Alone opposite Bipasha Basu. Karan has already tried his luck in Bollywood with Bhram and I Am 24 as secondary roles, but the actor failed to win hearts on silver screen. With Alone, Karan is making his lead debut in the industry.

Karan Wahi

The Indian presenter and television actor is also making his Bollywood debut with Babbu Ki Jawani as a geek!

Arjun Bijlani

The Miley Jab Hum Tum star is making his Bollywood debut with Rajniesh Duggal and Nidhi Subbaiah in Ho Gaya Direct Pyaar.

Vivian Dsena

The desi version of Robert Pattinson who is ruling television industry with Madhubala as RK is apparently going to make his Bollywood debut soon. It is said that the actor has been approached by Ramesh Sippy.
