The plot of Kill Dil appears to be an age-old one, it is the presentation of the movie which makes it stand out and entertaining. Ranveer Singh looks adorable in the new avatar and looks while, Parineeti also looked gorgeous. Ali Zafar did all justice to his role and complemented Ranveer well all through the film. Govinda has nothing to prove as an actor and this time as a villain, the senior actor looks impressive.
There are a couple of funny one liners in the film Kill Dil and it's a good mix of humour, action, romance and drama.
The gangland and the mafia world is a new trend that is being followed in Bollywood and directors are keen on presenting different tales from their point of view. Now here we have Shaad Ali, who has a distinguished gang story from YRF’s earlier release ‘Gunday’ but a similar presentation.
Ranveer Singh may have had the best lines, but actor Ali Zafar as Tutu complements him well as his partner in crime. Kill Dil doesn’t offer any riveting twists, but you don’t feel like putting a bullet to your head at the end of it either. Watch it if you love Singh and his nervous energy.
‘Kill Dil’ is a bromance/romance disguised as an action thriller, leaving its leading men to flirt with guns at one point, or croon and sway at another. There's also an audaciously-dressed woman and a dancing star/gangster.
Even Govinda's dance moves can't save 'Kill Dil'. Shaad Ali’s chaotic take on romance and guns is best left unwatched.
