Mastizaade has no such plot! A typical Bollywood sex comedy that is not entertaining at all and mind you, we have two Sunny Leones' who strut around in bikinis. There are a lot of similarities between Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 and Mastizaade, Bruna Abdullah and Gizele Thakral are see in this movie doing the same old thing.
Sunny Leone fans can probably go and watch this movie for her. Going by her previous performances in movies, we can say that she has put in a lot of effort to pull of the twin roles in this sex comedy. Tusshar Kapoor is King Of Sex comedies, so he is seen doing the same old thing!
Mastizaade is a sex comedy directed by Milap Zaveri. The movie stars Sunny Leone, Tusshar Kapoor and Vir Das. The story revolves around two perverted men, Sunny Kele (Tusshar) and Aditya Chothia (Vir), who fall in love with twin sisters Laila Lele and Lily Lele (Sunny). The twists in their love stories come when Lily is engaged to be married to another man and Laila is super horny for Sunny but refuses to say ‘I love you’.
Well, nothing about this movie is tempting enough to make you want to watch it unless you’re a fan of Sunny. She is the sole reason this movie will make whatever money it can. The director of this movie knew this very well and he has done everything… literally EVERYTHING he could to make the most of this one sex comedy. This movie feels like it has been made by someone who has just hit puberty and has finally got the freedom to crack all the lame sex jokes that sounded funny in his head.
please don’t waste your time on this movie unless a horny uncle is what you are. Sunny is hot but Mastizaade… is NOT!
Hate her or love her but you can’t ignore her. Sunny Leone is in full throttle mode in Mastizaade. There is hardly any scene that doesn’t have Sunny in it. And you have to give her full marks for attempting this genre with uber confidence. She is unapologetic and brash in her portrayal of the twin sisters Laila and Lily. Vir Das has superb comic timing and is totally at ease with his role. He has some of the best lines in the film. Also his equation with Tusshar helps most of the scenes work. Tusshar who has already dabbled in the genre before knows the routine and plays the part well. Riteish Deshmukh’s special appearance is a major highlight and we wish his cameo was extended and he had more screen time.
A lot of scenes in the film are clichéd and even with the long pauses and build up one can predict the end of a stretched joke. Some even seem borrowed from Whatsapp groups. There isn’t any harm in using material that’s out, but then you lose the ability to throw a surprise or present something fresh. Because of lack of a vital story line the film has an uneven graph. Suresh Menon’s utterly stereotyped gay character is garish and totally unnecessary. Also he has played an effeminate gay man so many times on other platforms that this had zero entertainment quotient. The climax is poorly written and badly executed almost as if it were a scene out of a 90s slapstick show.
Mastizaade is clearly a Sunny Leone film, and if you plan to watch it for her then it’s worth the price of admission.
The director of the film Milap Zaveri has tried hard to fix the plot of the film but that has really not worked out well. There isn’t any plot we could say. But there is lot of double meaning and once again spoofing of Bollywood songs, films and celebs just like what happened in ‘Kya Kool Hain Hum 3′. The visuals of this flick will definitely be a perfect weekend treat for many!
Suresh Menon’s gay character might be liked as he manages to pull off certain sexual meanings in a crazy comic way. Also, we would have loved if Riteish Deshmukh’s character would have been stretched little more. But hats off to Vir Das’comic timing! The man has a done a good job in this adult comedy movie. In fact, his role and certain dialogues will bring you back to life. So watch ‘Mastizaade’ for Sunny Leone but don’t expect anything much with regards to the plot of the film.
