Time and again, we have witnessed Bollywood's fascination for some most grittiest, realistic, and memorable gangster flicks. With movies like Vaastav, Gangs Of Wasseypur, Zilla Ghaziabad, Satya, Company and many more, Bollywood has each time successfully brought alive the gangster formula onscreen. The underworld saga in Bollywood continues with filmmaker Sanjay Gupta's latest release Shootout At Wadala, that features John Abraham, Kangna Ranaut, Anil Kapoor and Tusshar Kapoor in the leads.

Story:
The movie Shoot At Wadala is an action crime drama and a prequel to 2007 hit film Shootout at Lokhandwala. Based on the life of the 80s' gangster Manya Surve, Shootout At Wadala dramatizes the first-ever registered encounter of gangster Surve, by the Mumbai Police.

The movie will see John Abraham, playing Surve's role onscreen. The story revolves around Surve aka John getting life term imprisonment for a crime, that was not committed by him. Manya along with his fellow prisnor Sheikh Munir (Tusshar) escapes from the jail and forms his own gang and challenges the diggis of underworld Dilawar Imtiyaz Haskar (Sonu Sood) and his brother Zubair Imtiyaz Haskar (Manoj Bajpayee).

With the increasing power of Manya, he becomes threat to the police ACP Ishaque Bagwan (Anil Kapoor). Now both Dilawar and Zubair wants to kill Manya, while ACP Ishaque Bagwan shares the same intention. Shootout At Wadala is definitely an honest attempt that chronicles Manya's eccentric life from a righteous simpleton to a bloodcurdling monster.

John Abraham in Shootout At Wadala
John Abraham has always been criticsed for being 'wooden' and 'expressionless'. But, his intense 'bad man' act in Shootout At Wadala is sure to change the critics' notion. The film is said to be a path breaking film especially for John Abraham due to his outstanding and intense acting as gangster Manya Surve.

Tusshar Kapoor in Shootout At Wadala
Not many might expect that Tusshar Kapoor would be the biggest surprise in the film. Yes, Kapoor does his act so convincingly and perfectly. No wonder, his performance this time is praiseworthy.

Anil Kapoor in Shootout At Wadala
Anil Kapoor does his encounter specialist act with elan, while Sonu Sood is electrifying. Other characters like Manoj Bajpayee, Siddhanth Kapoor and Kangna Ranaut too were very impressive.

Can the Bollywood bombshells add on to the positives for the film?
Priyanka Chopra puts in a rare appearance as an item girl in Sanjay Gupta's Shootout At Wadala. But unfortunately, PC did not quite live up to the hype of her Babli badmaash number. The number has become a chartbuster, but it somehow left us wanting more.

Sunny Leone's Item Number
Here's someone to watch out for. Agree or not, hot babe Sunny Leone's first ever Bollywood number is certainly an 'X' factor to pull the crowd to the theatres. Those who have already watched Leone's Laila teri le legi number in the film, will agree that the babe knows how to play the game of seduction with those sexy thumkas.

Shootout At Wadala Final Verdict
Shootout At Wadala is an electrifying, spine chilling action flick. And, a must watch for John Abraham fan, as the movie showcases Johnnie boy at his best ever performance.
