Abhishek says no to movie with Big B

Abhishek Bachchan got a golden opportunity to play the role of a young Big B in Shoojit Sircar"s upcoming movie. Abhi however rejected the offer after hearing the entire script as he did not see much for himself in the story. The role had the younger Bachchan playing a 40 year old man for a short period after witch the story takes a 20 year leap and Amitabh takes over from then on.

Sircar had approached the actor as his body language and acting style is similar to that of his father. Also casting Abhishek in the role would have drawn more crowds to the theaters. However Abhishek thought he would not have substantial role to match with that of his father in the movie. The director was disappointed as he did not expect that Abhishek would turn down this role.

The role was then offered to young actor Kunal Kapoor but he did not seem interested in the role either. It is now for the director to decide who would play the role of the young Bachchan. Going by the current happening it will not be surprising if Amitabh decides to to both the roles himself. The father and son duo will be next seen in the movie Sarkar Raj
