You generally think of Delhi, Mumbai etc. The idea was to meet fans in these cities", he explained. Before this tour, fans in Australia will get to see a Rahman concert which will be held in Sydney in August.

According to the musician, everything has a right time. He says that it is so good that this tour is happening now. Rahman admits that three years back, he didn't even know about his future. At the conference on the tour, he also brushed up on aspects such as ego and failure. He said, "Any true artist will have creative ego, without that your work can't be the best. But you have to be at war with your personal ego."
"If failure comes due to non preparation or lack of work, then you feel guilty. If it comes through destiny then you understand that it just turned out that way," he added.
During Rahmanishq, Rahman will also be joined by other singers like Javed Ali, Neeti Mohan, Shweta Pandit, and Harshdeep Kaur.
