Krrish 3: Why Hrithik Roshan Wanted Vivek Oberoi's Role?

Hrithik Roshan is all set for his upcoming movie Krrish 3 in which he will play the role of a superhero. But the actor says that he wanted to play Vivek Oberoi's role as it has a negative shade.

Hrithik Roshan and Vivek Oberoi are working together for the first time in Krrish 3. Hrithik says that Vivek has done a fantastic job in the movie but he always wanted to do Vivek's role. Hrithik also says that his father Rakesh Roshan did not agree and said Vivek is the perfect choice for the role of Kaal.

Talking about Vivek Oberoi, Hrithik Roshan told the media at Krrish 3 trailer launch, "I wanted to play the villian. I think my dad was biased. But thank God I am not playing Vivek's role as after looking at him on screen I feel only he could do this. He has done a phenomenal job."

Vivek Oberoi, who was also present at the trailer launch said, "I loved working with the Roshans.. they are genuine, large hearted. I believe if you have a legendary director like Rakesh Roshan then you can play any character convincingly, it is his brilliance... he has created the character."

The film's main actor Hrithik Roshan, who recently underwent a brain surgery, is playing triple roles in Krrish 3 including Rohit (Krrish's father), Krishna (alter ego of Krrish) and Krrish (the superhero).

Both Kangna Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi will be seen playing negative characters in Rakesh Roshan's Krrish 3. Kangna is playing the role of Kaya, who is a mutant, while Vivek is playing the main villain named Kaal.
