scene

his
upcoming
movie
Welcome
Back
will
be
shot
on
a
"one-of-a-kind" yacht,
owned
by
the
royalty
in
Dubai.
"It
will
be
for
the
first
time
that
this
yacht
will
feature
in
a
film.
It
is
a
lavish
one
and
has
an
open-air
swimming
pool
and
50
staff
members
and
two
helipads," Nadiadwala
said
in
a
statement.
"I've
known
the
(royal)
family
for
years.
Director
Anees
Bazmee
and
I
have
visited
the
yacht
and
made
arrangements.
We
are
planning
to
shoot
with
aerial
cameras,"
he
added.
Welcome
Back,
a
sequel
to
the
2007
hit
Welcome,
is
scheduled
to
release
in
2014.
It
features
John
Abraham,
Shruti
Haasan,
Nana
Patekar,
Anil
Kapoor
and
Paresh
Rawal.While
John
Abraham
and
Shruti
Hassan
would
be
playing
the
lead
roles
in
the
movie,
Nana
Patekar
and
Anil
Kapoor
are
expected
to
reprise
their
roles
of
Uday
Shankar
Shetty
and
Majnu
Bhai
respectively
from
the
prequel.
Way
back
in
October,
it
was
reported
that
Bollywood's
most
prolific
on-screen
couple,
Amitabh
Bachchan
and
Rekha
are
likely
to
reunite
for
a
movie.
Welcome
that
released
worldwide
on
21
December
2007
to
mixed
critical
reviews
was
a
box
office
hit.
After
initial
competition
from
Taare
Zameen
Par,
the
film
was
a
strong
financial
success
at
the
box
office
both
in
India
and
overseas.
The
film
opened
to
a
massive
response
locally,
by
grossing
INR
35
crore
(US$5.4
million)
on
its
opening
week.
It
later
went
on
to
collect
INR
71
crore
(US$11
million)
domestically.
Soon
it
became
the
second
highest
grossing
film
of
2007,
just
behind
Om
Shanti
Om.
The
worldwide
gross
was
around
INR
116
crore
(US$18
million).
