We all know that Ranbir Kapoor is all set to play a superhero for the first time in Ayan Mukherji's tentatively titled 'Dragon'. The film is slated to hit the shooting floors as soon as the young lad wraps up the Sanjay Dutt biopic.
Ranbir will be sharing screen space with Alia Bhatt for the first time and that's already got everyone quite excited! Meanwhile, here's some latest scoop on this film.
If reports are to be believed then Bollywood's Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan is also a part if this film and as per Pinkvilla, a source close to the legend revealed that he is confirmed for the role.
A Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source close to the development of the film saying, "It's an important role so the details have been kept under the wraps. Mr Bachchan is really excited about the part and is expected to start shooting by the middle of the year."
Now that's quite interesting, isn't it?
Earlier Ayan was quoted saying to a tabloid, " have not locked the title yet. Dragon is just the tentative title. It was called Dragon because in the film, the boy has connection with fire. It is his power. The guy has a mystical connection with fire. So, I called it Dragon. There's something I like about the word."
Further a source had added, "Ranbir's character has shades of grey and his powers include emitting fire from his palms. He has to practise limb coordination and is training with international experts. He will undergo special workshops to get the physical nuances of his character on point."
