AR
Rahman
is
again
embroiled
in
a
new
controversy.
On
Wednesday,
India
Today
reported
that
the
surgeons'
association,
ASICON,
has
filed
a
complaint
against
him.
In
response,
Rahman's
legal
team
earlier
this
week
sent
a
notice
to
ASICON
demanding
Rs
10
crore
in
damages
for
trying
to
defame
him.
In
the
notice,
Rahman
has
asked
the
association
to
pull
out
the
complaint
against
him
in
three
days
and
also
refuted
the
allegations,
mentioning
that
there
were
three
parties
involved
in
the
transactions,
which
he
had
no
idea
about.
As
per
reports,
the
complaint
was
filed
on
September
27
by
the
surgeons'
association
seeking
a
refund
of
Rs
29.50

which
they
claimed
was
paid
to
the

for
a
performance
in
2018.
It
also
stated
that
he
has
refused
to
return
the

in
the
last
two
years
and
has
also
declined
their
requests
for
the
same.
What
did
AR
Rahman
say
in
his
countersuit?
In
his
countersuit,
AR
Rahman
has
not
only
denied
all
the
allegations
but
has
also
demanded
an
unconditional
apology
from
the
surgeons'
association
for
maligning
his
reputation
along
with
a
massive
Rs
10

also
states
that
if
the
association
does
not
adhere
to
these
conditions,
the
Jai
Ho

will
proceed
with
criminal
action
and
legal
proceedings.
This
is
the
second
controversy
involving
the
renowned
composer
in
the
last
few
weeks.
In
September,
numerous
people
from
his
Chennai
concert
alleged
mismanagement
and
chaos,
with
many
women
blaming
harassment
and
molestation
at
the
venue.
