The
wife
of
a
businessman
based
in
Delhi
and
Dubai,
on
March
11,
filed
a
police
complaint
against
her
husband,
alleging
foul
play
in
the
death
of
veteran
Bollywood
actor
and
filmmaker
Satish
Kaushik.
The
complaint
claims
that
her
husband
owed
Kaushik
Rs
15
crore,
and
that
the
actor
confronted
her
husband
over
the
money
in
their
Dubai
home
in
2022.
WOMAN
ALLEGES
SATISH
KAUSHIK
WAS
KILLED
According
to
the
complaint,
the
businessman's
wife
witnessed
an
altercation
between
Kaushik
and
her
husband
in
August
2022
at
their
Dubai
home.
She
also
stated
her
willingness
to
serve
as
a
witness
in
the
case.
Earlier,
the
police
allegedly
found
medicines
at
a
farmhouse
where
Kaushik
had
attended
a
party
prior
to
his
death.
Kaushik,
aged
66,
passed
away
in
the
early
hours
of
March
9
and
was
declared
dead
on
arrival
at
a
hospital
in
Gurugram.
He
had
reportedly
felt
dizzy
the
previous
night
and
was
taken
to
the
hospital.
His
body
was
later
transferred
to
Deen
Dayal
Upadhyay
hospital
in
Delhi
for
further
inquiry.

Rajeev
Kumar
reported
that
Kaushik
and
his
manager,
Santosh
Rai,
arrived
in
Delhi
on
March
8
and
stayed
at
the
residence
of
Kaushik's
friend
Vikas
Malu
in
Bijwasan.
The
police
statement
read,
"At
about
09:00
PM
he
had
dinner
and
then
after
walking,
he
went
to
his
bedroom
and
started
watching
some
movie
clips
on
his
iPad.
At
about
12:00
midnight
he
called
for
his
manager
Santosh
Rai
as
he
was
staying
in
the
adjoining
room
and
complained
about
some
health
problems
like
uneasiness
and
chest
pain.
Thereafter,
he
was
rushed
to
Fortis
hospital,
Gurugram,
where
he
was
declared
brought
dead
by
the
Doctors."

Satish
Kaushik
was
a
versatile
actor
who
achieved
excellence
in
multiple
fields
including
acting,
directing,
producing,
screenwriting,
and
comedy.
He
received
his
education
from
the
National
School
of
Drama
and
the
Film
and
Television
Institute
of
India,
and
started
his
career
in
theatre.
