Following its successful theatrical run under Vipul Amrutlal Shah's direction, the film has generated significant anticipation among viewers, heightening demand for its online release. Audiences can exclusively catch the film on ZEE5. Adah Sharma also shared the news on her Instagram handle. She shared a video and wrote, “FINALLY !!!!! SURPRISE !! The most anticipated film is dropping soon on ZEE5! #TheKeralaStory premieres on 16th February, only on #ZEE5.”

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is set to debut on OTT platforms with a web series titled "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar." Director Kiran Rao has addressed Animal director Sandeep Reddy Vanga's remarks regarding Aamir Khan's movies. Reddy Vanga's comments were made in response to alleged criticism from Rao towards his films in a recent interview. However, Rao clarified in her latest media interaction that she did not comment on Reddy Vanga's films and also shared her perspective on his remarks about Khan. “I have never commented on Mr Sandeep’s films because I have never seen them. I have often spoken on misogyny and the representation of women on screen. I have talked about it on various platforms at various times. But I have never taken the name of any film because it is not about the specific film. Why Mr Vanga has assumed that I was talking about his film you’ll have to ask him. I have never seen his film,” Rao told The Quint.
