Director Shekar is far better compared to his previous two films 'Amrutha Vani and Parole'. He knows how to hold the attention but in the meantime misses logic.
It's chewing gum, not barfi. Director Shekhar has stretched the story beyond limits testing your patience. While the first half appears lively, the second half looks more like a documentary on Punjab, its art and culture than a movie. There is a need to trim the movie by at least 30 minutes.
