Producer Ramu is popularly known for his action films. After the Kannadada Kiran Bedi, he is back with another action movie. His latest film Gandede has superb fight sequence, but has an age old story. It lacks freshness, which might disappoint the movie goers.
Gandede is a romantic-cum-action flick. Director Shiva Akula has made it a mass as well as class by including all the commercial ingredients. The highlights of the movie are Chiranjeevi’s fights, Ragini Dwivedi’s glamour, Rangayana Raghu’s comedy and Chakri’s music. However, it seems that the unnecessary use of graphics mar the beauty of the film.
The movie is all about poor college boy falls in love with a rich girl and their class differences force the girl's father despise the match. Finally, how the boy fights for his love is the climax. Gandede has a weak script, which is quite predictable and stereotyped story. It is also bit dragging, which makes it a boring watch in the first half. But the twist in the story makes it interesting in the second half.
