Sandalwood's
forthcoming
movie
Nimbehuli,
which
is
facing
various
hurdles
for
its
release
from
many
months,
is
in
the
limelight
again.
As
rumours
mills
were
doing
rounds
about
the
movie
that
it
is
based
on
infamous
Indian
cricket
betting
scandal,
which
took
place
in
2002,

Besides
directing
the

Hemanth

is
also
playing
the
lead
role
in
Nimbehuli,
who
says
that
he
was
completely
disappointed
when
he
heard
Ajay
Jadeja's
name
in
the
scam.
He
also
added
that
he
became
curious
to
know
about
how
betting
syndicate
operates
in
detail.
"However,
the
film
is
not
entirely
about
betting.
It's
only
the
first
few
minutes
of
the
film
that
feature
shocking
details
of
the
betting
industry.
A
lot
of
research
has
gone
into
betting
syndicates
operating
across
the
world
to
bring
the
reality
onscreen," says
Hemanth,
who
had
experienced
few
shocks
in

He
also
added,
"I
have
some
friends
from
the
real
estate
world
who
were
involved
in
betting
some
years
ago.
I
would
accompany
them
during
the
betting
seasons
and
observe
how
things
work.
It
was
initially
difficult
as
those
involved
fear
that
an
outsider
will
leak
information,
but
I
slowly
befriended
them."
