100 Degree Celsius is Mollywood's first two-part film. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, the movie has five heroines - Shweta Menon, Ananya, Bhama, Meghna Raj and Haritha playing the lead roles. The movie is said to be a women centric thriller and is based on a real life incident that happened in Kochi.
The movie revolves around the lives of the five women - Housewife, banker, IT professional, TV reporter and a college student. The movie also brings out the real people who inspired the story, during the promotion of the film. All five characters live in the same flat and the story revolves around an incident that happen there. They try to hide the incident, but it brings them to more trouble.
It is a thriller film and depicts the life of present day women, their issues and the problems they face. Many rumors came out after the movie was announced. Regarding the cast, Gauthami Nair and Aparna Nair were replaced by Ananya and Haritha, respectively. Lakshmi Rai was rumoured to be a part in the film, but was declined by the director himself.
Directed by debutante Rakesh Gopan, the movie is produced by Royson Vellara.
