earlier
after
a
Kerala
MP
tried
to
molest
her
in
a
public
meeting
held
in
Quilon,
has
confirmed
that
she
will
not
be
a
part
of
the
Malayalam
movie
Kelvi,
which
is
a
bilingual.
Kelvi,
directed
by
Hashim
Marikkar,
is
touted
to
be
a
suspense
thriller.
Shweta
Menon
says,
"Yes,
I
had
signed
the
project,
but
I
am
not
doing
it
anymore.
Currently,
I
am
busy
with
a
Kollywood
movie
and
some
shows." It
was
reported
that
Shweta
will
essay
the
role
of
a
scriptwriter
in
the
film.
Kelvi
revolves
around
the
lives
of
a
scriptwriter,
a
film
director
and
a
yesteryear
actress,
and
certain
events
that
happen
in
their
lives.
Manoj
K
Jayan
and
Swetha
Menon
were
said
to
play
the
lead
roles
in
the
film.
But,
since
Shweta
has
stepped
back,
the
female
lead
is
yet
to
be
confirmed.
Piaa
Bajpai,
Mumtaz,
Aju
Varghese,
Praveen
Prem
and
many
others
are
seen
in
supporting
roles
in
the
film.
Piaa
is
said
to
play
a
college
student
in
Kelvi.
She
plays
a
charming,
bubbly
girl
in
the
film.
Kelvi
will
also
be
made
in
Tamil,
in
which
Parthipen
will
play
the
male
lead.
Shweta
was
said
to
play
the
female
lead
in
Tamil
too,
but
now
things
are
yet
to
be
finalised.
