IN PICS: Saranya Mohan-Aravind Krishnan Wedding Highlights
Saranya Mohan, the actress-dancer tied the knot with Dr. Aravind Krishnan yesterday (September 6th) at Kottamkulangara Temple, Alappuzha. It is an arranged marriage for the couple, who got engaged July 12th, in a private ceremony.
Aravind Krishnan, who is a dentist by profession, is working as an assistant professor in Varkala Dental College. He also runs a dental clinic at Kovalam, Trivandrum. He is the son of Prof. Krishnan Nair and Prof. Anitha Nair.
Saranya is the daughter of YKB Mohan and Kalamandalam Devi Mohan, a dancer. She has a sister named Sukanya Mohan, who is also a professional dancer. Saranya's family runs a dance school in Alappuzha.
The traditional wedding ceremony was attended by the eminent personalities from the film industry, including the popular actresses KPAC Lalitha, Namitha Pramod, Rejith Menon, Mrudula Murali, Sarayu, Shilpa Bala etc.
Even though her husband and family have no issues about Saranya continuing her acting career; the actress has decided to retire from the films. She is planning to concentrate more on family life and her dance career.
Saranya Mohan made her acting debut as a child artist, with Fazil directed Aniyathipraavu. She got her major breakthrough in the lead roles with the blockbuster Tamil movies Yaaradi Nee Mohini and Velayudham.
